The Big Five Marathon

The Big Five Marathon is an exceptional race that takes runners deep into the South African savannah, at the heart of a reserve where the five largest mammals of Africa roam freely: elephants, lions, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards.

Held in the stunning Entabeni Game Reserve, this marathon offers a rugged and demanding course, featuring sandy tracks, rocky paths, and steep climbs. With no fences or barriers, participants get close to the wildlife, under the watchful eyes of rangers who ensure safety.
