White Nights Marathon

The St. Petersburg Marathon, also known as the White Nights Marathon, provides an exceptional running experience right in the heart of Russia’s second-largest city. Held in July, it takes advantage of the famous White Nights, when the sun barely sets, creating a unique atmosphere for runners.

The route passes through some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including Palace Square, the majestic Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, and the imposing Peter and Paul Fortress. Offering two distances to choose from (42 km and 10 km), this event attracts athletes from all over the world, drawn by its vibrant atmosphere and historically rich course.
